This is a group for metal detecting enthusiasts out to seek treasure! We’ll be organising digs in and around the Midlands in the UK as of 2019. Looking forward to going on some digs, making new friends and some great finds! There is a membership, but anyone can attend digs. Digs are currently priced at £20pp, or if a paid member £15 a dig-but may increase if there is a weekender. You will need valid insurance to attend the digs (NCMD or FID membership card). Digs will be created as events on the group page with a rough location (closest town). The exact post code will then be sent to anyone who clicked ‘going’ on the event the night before the dig at around 6pm. By clicking ‘going’ on the event you agree to splitting any finds worth more than £500 with the farmer.
