The Retford Archaeological Metal Detecting Group meets on the first Thursday evening of every month. New members are welcome, with a £2.00 entrance fee to cover rent. We are very much involved in community archaeology, we have just completed a dig at Littleborough and have two other possible sites in excavate, presently trying to raise funds to allow us to continue. We also have a museum project on. Please email us for more information.
